NameRivo (namerivo.com) is a free set of name generators. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is handled. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Names you generate

All names are generated from built-in word lists directly in your browser. The names you generate are never sent to our servers or to any third party, and they are not tied to your identity.

Favorites

When you save a favorite, it is stored only in your browser using localStorage on your own device. It is not uploaded anywhere and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser storage removes your saved favorites.

Analytics & cookies

We use privacy-conscious analytics (including Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate usage — for example, which generators are popular and which filters are used. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers. The events we send contain only non-personal information such as the generator category, selected genre or race, gender, and style. We do not send the specific names you generate or any personally identifiable information.

Advertising

NameRivo may display advertising to keep the generators free. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization through your device or browser settings and via the ad partner's own controls.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser, clear local storage to remove saved favorites, and use browser or device controls to limit ad personalization. The generators work without signing in or providing any personal details.
